What I'm Thankful For 200

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I have many reasons to give thanks this year; my health, family, home, etc. On the automotive front, though, I'm thankful for another year with my beloved 240 and the fact that it actually passed NJ inspection this year with no problems!

Did you notice one of the possible reasons why it passed?.... 200

    Congratulations.

But one of the reasons why it may have passed this year is that NJ dropped their test of NOx. Look at your printout -- that line will be blank. In the past, it was the item that used to give me aggravation.

    Have a great holiday.

    What I'm Thankful For 200

I am thankful for the Volvo enthusiasts who come here to teach and share. I'm thankful for the uncounted series of Volvos which have kept my family (parents, spouses, siblings and all our kids) safe over the decades and hundreds of thousands of miles (and counting)

    What I'm Thankful For 200

Happy Turkey Day to all you fine folks south of the 49th.

Along with good health and a pair of great kids, I'm thankful that the blower motor job is completed (and works), and this morning's water pump seal replacement on the 83 seems to be holding - no leaks.

When things warm up in the Spring, I'll replace the leaking camshaft oil seal that led to the demise of that waterpump seal.

    Don't eat too much!
