Is a bosch FPR interchangeable with Regina? 700

I'm going to replace my pressure regulator on my Regina-equipped '90 740. The Regina FPR is like $130-150, and the Bosch is much cheaper. Are these interchangeable? Will a Bosch regulator work on my car? I read somewhere else that they operate at the same pressure, but I haven't been able to confirm this. If there's no difference, I'd get it from Autozone. Here is their part:

Yes, the Bosch FPR works fine on a Regina car. Have one on my 1993 945 with Regina now, been there for about 1 year, all okay.

Yes, the pressure spec is the same for Bosch and Regina. I haven't had to change mine, but others have report that they are interchangeable.

What bad FPR symptoms are you seeing?
    Low pressure?
    How many miles?
    Original pump?

Generally poor fuel economy. The car has 280k on it. Just replaced the temp sensor, because it was giving me a fault code. Helped a little, but I pulled the vacuum line off the FPR and could smell fuel.
