Hi I have a 244 1976 B21A with aircon i Trondheim Norway. The fan motor bearings are broken and i have to change the motor. I have found the Simens replacement motor on several american netshops, the one that sels in a set with the new switch and resistor(change from 6 wires to two). The problem is that they only ship within the US. I have tried the local volvo dealership, they could not help me as the motor was gone out of production.

Does anyone know a seller that ships to NORWAY?

    The only thing I can add to Art's note is some info I saw in the instructions for a replacement blower motor stating that Volvo changed from a field coil motor on early models to a permanent magnet type motor and that this later one is the standard replacement for all models. So whatever you get as a replacement should work in your car.

    Check the online catalogs of eeuroparts.com and fcpgroton.com, both have received good comments here, and both say they ship internationally.

    Good luck; it's a fussy and time consuming job but also very satisfying.

      So whatever you get as a replacement should work in your car

      It should be mentioned that the newer type motor is not a direct fit. Some alteration of the housing for the original motor is required.

      This also presumes that the original fan motor has not been replaced. On a car of this vintage, it may already have been done.

    I think these guys may ship worldwide. At least the claim is they are a "Worldwide Supplier".
