Greetings
I don't know if you guys can help me
I purchased a couple of months ago a cargo cover for my 245
Unfortunately I did not realize that not all 245 came with the prerequisite hardware to have such cover fit
Any of you has such hardware?
Please see pics to get an idea of what I mean

    Do you have pick 'n pull yards in your area? You might find the hardware on a dead 245 there. Sadly I forgot to remove that hardware from our wrecked 245 before it left for the bone yard last week.

    I haven't seen a cargo cover before, but it looks like it, from the hardware shown, resembles a window blind. In which case, would a window blind work?

    This part may still be available from the dealer. Tasca shows it for about eight buck each. 1333692 is the part number for black. They come in four colors, black, blue, brown and beige. Let me know if you need any other part numbers.

      I think I found out this is what the part number refers to:
      It is the hook that holds the cover once "deployed"

      All the dealers I contacted up here in Canada said the part was no longer available
      It is still available in the US?
      I am confused....

        abatta,

        The part number for the hook by the tailgate is 1333693. I can't say for sure the part is still available but it is still listed in the Tasca data base. Their web address is, www.tascafordparts.com//index.do. You might try contacting them.

    You can fabricate the mount out of a PVC pipe cap. Trim it to the proper height and use a Dremel or similar tool to cut out the rectangular hole. If you want to paint it, use a plastic primer first or Krylon's Fusion paint for plastic.

      Nice idea, David, I'm in the same position. My only thought was to fabricate the item shown in the pic out of wood. Lowe's might be a good place to start.
