I removed the cluster to reset my check engine light. After assembling it back together, the speedometer goes up and down. I know i put it back correctly. What gives?

    Any chance you hooked in the tach wire to the speedo connector?

    The electrical connector, in the cluster, for the speedo may be your culprit. Pull it off and spray a little electrical contact cleaner. Then dab a little dielectric grease on the contacts and plug it back in. Seat it good.
