Geabox/Tranny Mounting 200

Do B21s, B23s, and B230s have the same transmission mounting surfaces.
I know they are all derivations of the basic redblock, but can you say swap an M47 or an AW30 onto a B21?

I know that B18 and B20s are so compatible, but I've never checked into the later engines.

My understanding is that you should have no problems bolting them up....but you may have problems with all the little stuff that makes it work. Does M47 use the same clutch components including the clutch actuation and flywheel. What electical connections does the AW30 need. Of course there is always the front half of the driveshaft...

That being said, almost anything is possible but most people stress that having both entire vehicles side by side makes it much easier. Heck, there is guy out there that swapped a 1.9L Diesel from an Jetta into a 122!
