Temp Compensation Board 200 1991

I took the speedo out today with the intent to remove the temp compensation board and solder up pins 1 & 3.
Well there isn't one! And no pins.
Is this normal for a 91 245? The gauge works as expected.
Would soldering up the 'pins' still work to eliminate the compensation?

Yep, it's Canadian.
No point in soldering it up then, I guess.

Do you have a Canadian 240? We must be a little more relaxed up here because Volvo didn't put temperature compensation boards in our 240s.

My 91 245 has a temp comp board and I did the jumper wire bypass.

It's been a few years but I recall it looking something like this:
