Can anyone tell me how to drain the fuel tank on my 1994 945T. I see no drain plug under the tank or around the lower side walls. I'm pretty sure I have water in the tank and therefor need to drain the bottom completely.

    Dear MISS B,

    May this find you well. There is no drain anywhere on these fuel tanks. There is rarely a need to empty the tank.

    If you suspect water in the fuel tank, add some "dry gas". This product - which can be had at any auto supply store, Wal-Mart, etc. - is mainly methanol (wood alcohol). Methanol (or ethanol, aka vodka) bonds with water. The water-alcohol mix will be burned along with gasoline.
