I got the wrong FPR 200

I bought the wrong Fuel Pressure Regulator. The one that I got is the plug in type, obviously for the LH 2.3 or 2.4 system. Any one have a known good unit for a car with the LH 2.2 threaded FPR? Willing to swap?

I see what you mean. Plug in threw me. I would think of that as push on. Since two fpr's are available for '85 depending on engine, I jumped to a conclusion.

    Sorry about that.

My 1985 is the LH 2.2 system and requires the FPR that is a 2.5 Bar unit. Rather than using a push on for the fuel rail, it takes the style that is threaded.

LH 2.4/3.0 (the 'push on' kind) control pressure spec is 3.0 bar.

Now that we have established what I posted originally, do you have the correct 2.5 Bar Regulator with the threaded fitting that you wish to trade for the incorrect Regulator with the push on fittine?

I have one, but I don't wish to sell or trade it.

Why can't you just exchange the one you have?

It is out of the sealed package.

If you didn't put any gas in it. Just send it back. Shipping can't be that much.

You can use a clothes iron and a thin cloth. To reseal the bag if you are worried.

Maybe a vacuum sealer machine can close it.

They may charge you a restocking fee. Doing a exchange they had better not to keep my business. All for the price of a plastic bag?

Besides if it didn't come in a bag. Would you have known? I get stuff in a box and gobs of newspaper all the time.

                Phil
