code P0301 (missfire cylinder one) replaced all 6 spark plugs and no help...help please

    If, after inspecting/swapping the ignition coil the misfire remains in the same cylinder, then swap out the power stages (2), on the front and rear of the intake manifold (ball) and see if the misfire moves. If it does, you have a bad power stage.

    It could also be a bad injector as well. Try the above first, simplest, cheapest route to take.

      I swapped the rear power stage on mine today. Hope you have "bendy" wrists. Might actually be easier to get at that one from underneath...

    The ignition coils often fail, swap number 1 with 2 and see if you then get a PO302.

    Remove that coil and inspect the vertical part of the insulator for long cracks.If one is cracked,inspect them all.The made-in-Spain Bosch coils are known to fail and are expensive to replace.Try to find a used set of the Japan coils from a '92-'95.Much less failure.
