At some point I think I heard or read that cars in Europe are not supplied with cruise contral.

Can any of our European Brickboarders confirm or deny this??

I will be in Amsterdam in late September and would love to trade a cruise control setup towards a set of Euro headlights for a 940.

Agreed, lots of demand for cruise in Europe. Your luggage should be packed with nothing but cruise controls :) Maybe some Cheetos too, to ward off nutritional problems.

You'll have to get someone from Europe to respond, but I've sure shipped a bunch of cruise controls to Europe, Australia, Maylasia, Chile, Canada, and Europe.

As a general rule, European Volvos don't even have the Cruise Control wiring harness embedded in the main wiring harness. When I was shipping them, I'd always strip out the cruise control harness from the main harness and ship it. For the wrong hand drive cars, I'd ship the electrical connectors and let the buyer make up the harness.
