The "idiotic" behavior at present is to place the recipient's address in the "Reply-To" header, while retaining the sender's address in the "From". Your email client will attempt only to send to the former. Just delete that and paste in the "From" and you'll be able to work around the untested feature.

Why do they put pictures of criminals up in the Post Office? What are we supposed to do, write to them? Why don't they just put their pictures on the postage stamps so the mailmen could look for them while they delivered the mail?
