I was driving yesterday stopped at a light light turned green i gave it gas, it sputtered, then was ok then about 5 to 10 seconds later i lost power, coast to the side, and it will not crank back up.......i checked everything i know to check, vacuum hoses, wires, fuses, etc. it all checked out.

if i spray starter fluid into air intake it would crank but not stay running, it was like it was getting no gas, or could not burn the gas.......

is it my fuel pump, fuel filter, or something else?

    When you first turn on the ignition, do you hear the pump run for a couple seconds? If not, direct your attention to the fuel pump relay or the pump itself. If you DO hear it run for a couple seconds, but still doesn't run, direct your attention to the Radio Suppression Relay.

    It sounds like the ignition side of the house is OK.

      Hey Thanks for the info!
      ill you explain to me what the "Radio Suppression Relay" is and how it can affect my car running? Ive had a few stalls and no run situations over the years with my two bricks, but no one has ever told me to check that b4? Is there a page here on the forum that can clue me in?

      As far as what was wrong, was water in my gas talk.......i bought gas at my local corner store a Kangroo, and about an hour or less of drive time total and i sputter to a stop........new gas filter, and ill stick ti BP, HESS, or Shell gas from now on i swear........
