Opinions On Value 700 1990

Hello all, wanted to get your opinions on the Value Of a 1990 745 Turbo ( Factory )Manual. Im thinking of changing project's and have someone interested in purchasing this from me as i have done a considerable amount of work to it already. typical things are wrong, headliner isnt hanging all the way down but ya know, the drivers quarter panal had some damage but nothing at all serious, otheriwse i have in the last three month's, replaced the Shock's/Strut's, Brakes All, New Vac Hoses All Around, New Brake Booster, New Sway Bar Endlinks, Put the A/C Back into operation converted to 134, No Codes Being Thorwn, Replaced Front and Rear Wiper Spray Motor's and fixed the sprayers so they spray properly, replaced all interor light bulbs including in dash, did a COMPLETE full tune up on it, everything work's, no leaks no rust, paints shot, 227K OD real mileage, added Body Brace On Underside, replaced condensor fan, Fixed ABS, Fixed Climate control leaks, added 3rd seat, Turbo's Good, Seats are in decent shape.

Anyways i can figure a price for an Automatic but kinda lost with a Manual but when i saw it i grabbed it as a project as i always wanted one, now i have an opp to get a 780 and want to jump on it.

    Opinions On Value 700 1990

I just sold a 90 744 NA sedan in fairly nice shape, 195,000 miles, for $2200. I also just purchased a 92 745 NA wagon, also in fairly nice shape, 105,000 miles, for $3000. I feel like the wagon was worth about $2500, but I drove 300 miles to see it and didn't want to go home empty handed. It was a one-owner car and it appeared to have been well loved.

I live in the Atlanta area. Around here nice 240's and 740's are starting to get some attention, as most of them that are for sale look a little rough.

Here's how this deal works---when you are looking for a manual tranny car for yourself it seems there are just not many of them around. When you finally find one you are willing to go a few extra buck to secure it. When you are selling a stick shift car it seems there are no buyers looking for one and you're willing to take a few bucks less to be able to move on. If you have a buyer in waiting I'd say set your price to be typical of your area, agreeable to the potential new owner and get started on your next project. -- Dave
