is this the relay for the aux fan on the front of the radiator? I just want to check before I get to messing with it.

    I have an identical relay at that location on my 1989, but I don't have the aux cooling fan. I've been wondering what the hell it is, since I've read on here before that LH2.4 on 240's lacks a RSR, which was what I originally assumed it was based on my 940.

    Bentley does not identify a relay at this location, nor does it show the location of a cooling fan relay. Odd, because the illustration is clearly of a car with the electric fan!

    Yes, that is it. If it were a car with ABS, it would be mounted on top of the coil.
