in-tank pump modifcation before/after 700

If your car has a noisy high flow exaust and the ear at filler wont work, an easy way to test the in-tank pump is to pull the hose before the main pump and crank the engine..if it dribbles out or worse, the problem is in the tank...if theres no noise put 12volts to the wiring harness..Daryl

Even an easier way is to pull the intank pump fuse, and jumper it with 12volts. Car doesn't have to be running. If its working, you'll hear it.

Nice job, looks functional. Not for nothing but why didnt you just get the accordian style rubber hose?

that part is no longer available from volvo-maybe it was prone to early failure...and Aleekat i was hearing the pump but the fuel was just being mixed in the tank not going anywhere..my point is you have to see fuel flowing out the hose, yet to find pump specs heard its around 3-4PSI... .Daryl
