AC question 200

I have a 1992 245 and several years ago converted over to the newer type freon. It worked OK in the past but now it seems to not be as cool as in the past and a noticeable ticking sound occurs every few seconds.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Thanks in advance.

You need to observe the center front of the compressor pulley. To see if you can notice it turning with the belt and not when it clicks.

You may be low on refrigerant. Maybe its short cycling. Need to find the leak.

Look around all the fittings and see if you can notice any oil film on them.

    Phil
