Folks,

What are the best axle stands or jack stands should be used on the 240? I'm using a set rated at 3 tons each but the use of them is collapsing the jack points on the 240s I have.

What do you use?

Bub and his 2 240s: 1990 245, 1991 240 sedan, 1992 240 GL sedan, all with M47II. The sedans have a moon roof.

    I have the 3-ton Craftsman stands... saddle fits right under the bar of the jack points, and around the rear axle.

      Do you mean the cars jacking post is collapsing up into the pan, or the collar around the post is folding in because the jack stands saddle is to wide?
