The compressor in my 940 is dead and I need a replacement. What is a good brand of aftermarket/rebuilt compressor? The system was converted to R134 several years ago. Thanks!!

I replaced mine a couple years ago in my 240 -- http://www.ackits.com -- no problems thus far.

Go to the pick n pull and find the cleanest one you can find that has a charge in the system and has a belt on it (indicating it was running when the car died). You'll save a lot over new. I got mine for about $35.
