I've started looking at '90 - '95 RWDs and they all seem to have splits in the dash under the windshield. (1) Are they all like that or just the one's I've seen? (2) How do you prevent it from happening? (3) Is whatever you use effective on 15-year-old cars to prevent splits?

    Nobody has any comments on sun-split and -broken dash?

    Do I assume that all of them are split and eBay/Craigslist sellers don't mention it because "everybody knows" they're split because they all are?
