Vacuum hose replacement 700

I just bought a 1987 744 gle with aged hoses. Does anyone know how many feet of each size hose I need to replace all of the vacuum lines? I searched but could not find it here.

The lengths are listed in the FAQ in http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/EngineFuelinjection.htm#VacuumHoseReplacement .

The Volvo part numbers are listed. The Volvo sizes are odd metric sizes. Volvo makes a good hose. They sell them by the meter. I want to say Borton Volvo sold them for about 12 bucks a meter depending on the size.

Just pull one off. Take it to the auto parts store. They can size it up. Just get you several feet of it. Cut it as you need it.

I would recommend this approach as well. You will always need more than you think, as the hoses will harden and split and need replacement regularly. Also, it's just useful to have extra for:

      Engine stethoscope
      Threading in new spark plugs
Tying fragile stuff up (in case you run out of zip ties)
Draining coolant from the engine spigot
      Transmission flush
      Emergency short-term repairs
