Ok, on my '67 122, the clutch pedal is sticking when releasing, I have a feeling the mast cyl is the issue - its creaking when I depress it...can I adjust it at all? I just put in a new clutch disk and pressure plate...am I doing harm to my new clutch parts?

First thing is to make sure your clutch is adjusted right.
The rod that connects the slave cylinder to the throwout fork should be adjusted so that it turns freely
but VERY little endwise motion. This should give you less than an inch of clutch pedal play.
The creaking MAY be in the pin that goes through the clevis on the pedal arm.
A couple drops of oil there may help.
If it is from somewhere else, get help and find out where it comes from!

Adjustment should give about 1/8" fee play. Book says 3 - 4mm / 0.12 -0.18". Recheck after clutch has bedded in.
Is the arm return spring connected properly?

Damage- I don't think so... its on its way out. I've had a similar issue it was the master, and soon after it was the slave. replace them in pairs.
