what are some obvious things that I have overlooked?, I changed the plug wires some used Bougicords ,and threw the purple silicon junk ones that were there , that helped some but still sounds like a SBC with a hot cam and keeps dying until it gets warm....any suggestions greatly appreciated, Kris

If it is dies while warming up, it may be running lean. Do you have a cold start device that should be richening the fuel mix during warm-up?

You probably have the Continuous Injection System (Bosch K-jetronic fuel injection)

It has a separate cold start injector. The Haynes manual has some info on it. But I don't think Bentley covers early 240 systems.

I think I saw mentioned a website dedicated to k-jet eg.
