working on a '89 240. page 241-15 table f. LH-2.4 and LH-3.1 System Electrical Tests

Oxygen sensor wiring harness: test terminals 24 and ground; separate connector and connect green wire to ground = "No" continuity ?? I get the opposite results

Oxygen sensor connected = continuity ?? again opposite results

could somebody else confirm these results.

Hi Peter,

At first glance I'd say you're right. If you measure between pin 24 of the disconnected ECU plug to ground, there should be no continuity until you go out under the hood and pull the green wire (single connector) plug and ground the green end of it (the one leading to the ECU).
