ok, i have another 'if it's NOT broke do i fix it' question........the collapseable steering box in a 1968 parts car I have is in really nice shape. should i go through the trouble to put it in my car which is a 1967 I know i cold sell either one of them - one went on ebay for a decent price not too long ago.....i can decide if it worth it...what do you think? advice?

If you decide you don't want it, I'll give you a fair price for it (depending on what we both think is fair). It seems like a good upgrade to have in case of an accident (heaven forbid).

Last time I saw one on ebay (auction not finished) it was at $129... Is this the one Geoff is thinking about. What did it finish at?

I've got a few of the later ones (upper and lower since you need both halves) around...

One question, just for my information: Is the spline on the later shafts the same as on the earlier? In other words, can you interchange the bow-tie steering wheels with the earlier two-spoke ones? That might be a factor... ???
