VALVE GUIDES 444-544

I have a set of valve guides I purchased on ebay. They are in a TRANCO box. Handwritten on the side of the box is 1657 004, then ink stamped is 110 - G50754 but the "110" has been marked out with a magic marker. The valve guides themselves are stamped "Made in England" and "110/G50754". Is there any way to cross reference this info with a Volvo parts list to see which engines/cars they will apply to?

Thanks for your help,

You'd be better off to look at and measure them.
If they are about 3/4" in diameter, mostly cylindrical and take 11/32" valve stems they are for B18 engines.
If they are like the above but take 5/16" valve stems they are for B16.
B20 guides are tapered on one end and have a turned-down section on the other end to take the seal.

VALVE GUIDES 444-544

Hi,
I just measured one. It's about 1/2" in diameter (.59 on my micrometer) has an 11/32 I.D. and is about 2-1/2 inches long. One end is tapered and the other is "rounded".

That is a B18 guide then.
