Thank You All! From The Bronx Back To Queens Without A Hitch! 200 1978

Well the 245 is home. Upon a good tip to check in the trunk for ground connection I looked in the compartment above the tank. Everything looked fine. On a wicked hunch I picked up the back seat. At this point I discovered a little yellow wire disconnected from an apparent ground screwed into the floor. Well I reconnected it and Voila the car started on the first turn. Jesus H Christ. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude and thanks to all who have read and replied with tips and information. I hope I can help one of y'all one of these days! Hopefully though, nobody will need said help for their cars will be running tip top... but just in case I hope to pay it forward!

Good news.

Now, that's a first for me, finding the pump disconnected under the seat. Must be some history on that car to have the ground wire undone.

I think that may be the first time in history that someone from New York City uttered the phrase Y'all too. ;-)

Tony...I think we chatted once a couple years ago...I used to live in Wading River, too. On Sunset, off of N. Country Road. 'Hope all is well.

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply be kind to others.
