is the rear end ratio the same for a turbo car as a non-turbo 900 1993

Hey, I have a 1993 940 non-turbo. I was wondering if the rear axle ratio is differnt then that of a turbo car. I want to install a locker out of a turbo car into mine but I don't want to have the wrong gear ratio. Any ideas? Thanks.

Your non turbo (Regina FI?) should already have the locker rear end, identified by the 1041 label on the back of the left axle tube (probably covered with undercoating, as in photo). I know that's what my '93 940 has. The 1031 doe not have the locker.

The owners manual says the actual ratios are:

4.10:1 940
3.73:1 940 Turbo

I believe some turbos have open difs and same gearing 4.10 as non turbos. My wagon definetely is not a locker and seems to have a 4.10 gear ratio.
