mounting front license plate 900

I am new to NE and the state requires a front license plate as well as rear, however my 1994 945 turbo has no mount on the front, all that is present is two small squares shaped holes that I guess require a clip of some kind, there is no rear access as bumper is there. please advise as I do not want to get a ticket for not complying with state law.

    You can find these at salvage yards. Same as a 240 and 740 and maybe more. Here are a few more sources.

    You should be able to pick up a square plastic nut from a hardware store that presses into the square cutout in the bumper. Then there is a screw that goes into the plastic nut.
    I have no idea what the proper term for the nut is though. It's a pretty simple fix.
