Powder Coating Suspension Springs 1800

Is this a good Idea? I'm not sure how hot a powder coating oven gets, maybe 400 degrees. Would this take the temper out of the springs? Would'nt want to do that. Thanks Rich B.

Not that I am an expert but... it is my opinon that powder coating will be so hard (read "Brittle") that the first time the springs compress, there will be cracking and flaking of the coating of the spring.
