Helga routinely sees about 5 miles per day. When we decide to go on a trip, we leave the newer cars in the garage, and take Helga. Two weeks ago we took her to Colombus GA to Fort Benning to see our Son graduate. She purred like a kitten for the thousand mile plus trip.

I live about 1/4 mile from the International Paper Company facility (poly paper cup and plastic lid manufacturing), in Kenton, Ohio, where I am lucky to have stayed employed with the same company for the last 20 years, actually my second career, I'm 64 right now. I make the rounds every day after work, so I guess I put about 3 miles every weekday on my 1980 262C V8 conversion, maybe 10 miles each weekend day. After years of commuting long distances to a job in Chicago, I learned half a lifetime ago that it is common sense to live near where you work.

I drive my '86 sedan about 75 miles daily round trip Monday thru Friday and everywhere we need to go on weekends. I put 25K a year on it and have no issue in driving 350 miles from north Florida to where my daughter lives in south FL or anywhere on vacation.

I drive 72 miles round trip Monday-Friday. I've only "not" driven my 240 to work about three times in the last 1 and 1/2 years. (Waiting on parts!) I don't drive all that much on the weekends, but occasionally take the 100+ mile trip or so in the 240 just for the sheer fun of it. (We have a 2001 XC70 as well and assorted other finely made vehicles.)

We have a 92 245, for the past six months, the mileage routine has been 150 miles on Sunday, 150 miles on Friday, all at freeway speed. During the week, its a 20 mile round trip, all city. During the weekend, 100 miles of typical mixed driving.

at 7000 miles a year, my average is about 20 miles a day. But it's all on weekends, so it's 600 mile trips a few times a year and 400 mile trips more often than that.

I ride the bus to work. Seeing as I'm now unemployed, I won't even be doing that much now.
