Accident 200 1980

Hi all. I lent my 1980 240 to my daughters friend. I got a call yesterday that someone rear ended it again (it was hit by an enraged california driver about two years ago). The collision also drove it into my other 1989 240 that my daughter drives! So it looks like I'll get another $800 to write off the old 240 and a payoff for the 1989. This will be the second time I've done that for the older car. The 89 has minimal damage and can be used but I'm afraid that the car that I've used for the past 21 years is done. I was hoping to get to 400000. Thanks all for the help you've given me in my obsesive desire to keep this car running all these years. I has been fun.

I noticed there are a lot of 80-240s still around. Somebody in your area may be looking for a parts car.

I'll put it in Craigslist. What really bugs me is onr of the Cibie lights I put in was broken. I think I'll take out the relay system and wiring I put in for the headlights.
