Did the 164 model ever come with a sun roof? If it did, what years? Thanks!

It's been quite a while since I've seen a 164 of any description, but I've been around long enough to remember when they were relatively common used cars. (early-mid 80s) I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple with a sunroof. They were probably late ones (73-75) with the big bumpers and ugly dash. I have seen several 74 142GLs with a sunroof. I expect that unit would be the same as what a 164 would have had, and very similar if not identical to that in an early 240.

I once saw a 71 144GL (European model) which had black leather seats, B20E, M41, and a sunroof. It was 71E gold. Sadly, it was BEAT TO DEATH and rusty (and had one dark green front fender on it) when I saw it circa 1985-88. It was still running and had tags on it at the time, but I'm sure it no longer exists.

I have had several both early and later model 164 with factory sunroof.
