Any tips on timing belt R and R on 98 V90? S90-V90 1998

Have hit 140K so it's time for the third timing belt. Have a great mechanic but he hasn't done a V90 in a while. As you know, they're rare.

So, any tips on efficient techniques for R&R? Should he R&R the water pump and/or thermostat at the same time? What about accessory belts?

Any other considerations? We plan to keep the car for a few more years.

At 140K I would also recommend changing the tensioner and the two pulleys at the same time you change the belt. I will PM you instructions.

I have a 98 S90. Assuming it is the same engine 6304 i beleive. then the T-Belt is a very easy job. You do not even need to remove the crank pulley. I is probably the easiest one I have ever done. Took longer to change the spark plugs.
I would change the 2 pulleys for sure and seriously think about the hydraulic tensioner too. My tensioner was fine but both the idler and tensioner pulleys were dry and seized.
