Steering Fluid 700

This question may sound very stupid to some. I have an older 740. I absolutely cannot find the power steering fluid reservoir. I just spent 30 min looking in every crack and corner for it. Any suggestions?

NO MATTER which trans you have. The power steering fluid is automatic transmission fluid.

Front of the driver's side strut tower, a small rectangular plastic box about four inches square with two hoses going into it. See the FAQ about flushing fluid.

It may be that your reservoir, for some incomprehensible reason, is integral with the P/S pump (many GMs had this) and is a tank right on the pump.

It should be on the drivers side wheel well.It is a small square black plastic reservoir. That is where it should be located on 4cyl. models.(B230)

I see a small small square black plastic reservoir as described in the described location, the only issue is that it says "Automatic Transmission Fluid Only", Problem is I drive a stick. Could this have been a swapped cap by the previous owner?

Not sure if the layout is similar to 900-series, but the ps reservoir is on driver side, as circled in the pix below:

The power steering system uses automatic transmission fluid.
