My 740GL needs a new transmission mount. IPD sells a square one that looks OEM but everyone else has a round one to sell.

Are they interchangeable?

Not all of the mounts are interchangeable (some attach with one bolt in the middle, some attach with two bolts on top one on the bottom). I recommend checking which one is on your car before buying a new one, IPD had the wrong mount listed for mine (1988 740 Turbo with manual transmission). I think the mounts changed in 1988, the links in the previous post from WillDallas should be correct.
