Has any one herd of using a 563 ecm LH 2.4 turbo on a non turbo to give better performance?

I have tried it in a 240, it runs....horribly.

I have tried a lot of different ECU's in my 240's but never one for a turbo. I suspect it would work but I would not expect improved performance. Dan
