Lower Air box removal 900

Hi,

This seems like a basic question but I want to remove my windshield washer resevoir to fix the level sensor and I need to remove the lower air box to get to it.

With the warm and cold air plumming, and the plastic part where the flapper is, I can't get to the three nuts that holds the left side bracket on. There also seems to be wires tied to the underneath of the bracket. I can't get the cold air plumming off and away from the box either. Not enough room to manuever.

Looks like a Chinese Puzzle.

Does anyone know any tricks to it's removal?

Thanks,

Mark

These are fairly simple in the 940: you may need to cut zip ties holding wires to the various components. A long socket extension will get you to the holding bolts.

By the way, the car is a 1997 960 wagon.
