Who sells new rear "cargo' window seals? 140-160

Has anyone had any luck finding new rear window seals for the one piece cargo windows in a 145? I have heard that early 240 seals fit but I have had no luck finding either. If I get 240 seals will they still accept the wide 145 chrome trim pieces?
Many thanks,
Dave

Who sells new rear "cargo' window seals? ...repair with sugru 140-160

Hi Dunno if you solved this problem, but you can repair window seals with an awesome silicone putty called SUGRU (get it on ebay). just clean area you want to repair with rubbing alchohol then mold with sugru wait 24 hrs to cure. I used it all over my car (72 145 wagon) ...LOVE IT!

140/240 Fit 140-160

I don't know about a source, but I will confirm that you can take the seal from an early 245 (circa 1977) and install the 145 cargo window with it. This part changed very little and I'd bet there's a wide range of fits.

When my 145 died, My early 245 needed a new window, so I popped out the glass put the old 240 seal on the 140 glass and it fit right it. I don't know about the trim, I don't recall having any issues, but this *was* circa 1997.

Not sure what you need new seals for (leaks, probably). I managed to reuse seal on a 1986 240 wagon repair. It turned oout the pinch weld was rotted, so, I build that up to original grade. then used silicon sealer in the gasket when refitting the window glass. Still had some leaking, so used flowable silicone to get it watertight.

maybe is you remove the window and see wxactly what you have, you can save your seals and repair the problems with alternate methods.

I don't have new ones, but I have the ones I took off my '72 145 about 15 years ago.
Send me an e-mail if your interested.
