exhaust headers 120-130

Hello all you wise owls, i have been thinking about fitting a header to my beast. It is a b20 currently with a b20e exhaust manifold. Any thoughts or experience with a tri-y or 4-1 as in the ipd design? And any real gains to speak of. Look forward to your responses. Regards David

Unless it is already highly modified the gains will probably not be worth the shorter
life of the header and the problems (and cost) involved with its purchase and installation.

On a relatively stock engine, I'd agree that you can't do a lot better than the cast dual down pipe manifold. A little porting to clean up the insides is called for and a larger diameter down pipe is a good idea.
