The new compressor to drier hose has apparently been updated, it is much shorter and does not run under the front of the engine to the passenger side with a convoluted aluminum tube connecting to the drier.

Anyone have experience with the updated hose? P/N 1348538

Parts suppliers photos indicate the '89-92 hose assembly matches in appearance.

I'll take another look this AM for a possible re-routing.

FYI for anyone replacing the compressor to drier AC hose, it will fit.

The hose has different fittings so the hose can't be reversed but until you remove the old hose it appears it may route forward but there is interference with the sub-frame.

While I'm not happy about the routing the only way it fits is rearward from the compressor, under the intake manifold,(watch the hoses and wiring for undue stress)then up the firewall and over the distributor to the drier. I fitted some foam pipe insulation in the area of the bellhousing and firewall to prevent chafing.
