I just checked out a new (to me) mechanic in Wendell MA (just south of Millers Falls) call Paul Newcombe (Newcomotion get it?) he can be called on 978/544 0991.

Paul spent a long time at Performance and seems to specialize in keeping 240s on the road without huge expense.

I highly recommend Paul Newcombe. I had him work on my 93 240 wagon today. It’s clear that he’s a master technician and knows Volvo’s cold. He’s a pleasure to work with too.

There's a place in northampton called Metrix, they come highly recommended, and across the river in Hadley, there's a place called Performance Motoring, they specialize in Volvos.
