Water4Gas Modification work for a Brick Engine? 200 1989

Howdy Bricksters,
I have recently been studying the modification at 'www.Water4gas.com' which claims to double your gas milage while making the engine run smoother using H2O that has been changed to HHO. It is supposed to turn your gas into vapor which burns with 100% efficiency rather than liquid squirting into the cylinder which burns with 25% efficiency.
Has anybody made this modification to their Brick, and is it worth doing?
Please advise,
Joning

    My suggestion 200 1989

I recently suggested to some shysters who were trying to sell an 'HHO' kit that since they have no problem selling technology that is unencumbered by physics and the laws of thermodynamics, they should market a windmill that would mount on the roof of a hybid car. The wind from driving down the highway would turn the windmill, charging the battery of the hybrid. A perpetual motion machine!!!!

I expect to see the infomercial any day now....

I agree with Ryan and Trichard... 200 1989

    Hey Jon,

Sorry to disappoint, but its bull. It takes power from the alternator, powers a crude fuel cell to break water. The tiny amount of gas this creates is a 'fart in the wind' compared to what the engine needs. Any gain will be offset by the fuel burned to power the additional load on the alternator and the extra weight added. At best, your mileage will stay the same. Total waste of time and money. If you want to improve your mileage, make sure the car is good tune and has proper tire pressure. That will do more to help than this snake oil stuff.

    Regards, Jon 'Uncle Olaf'

    ...and a flux-capacitor wired in a 260 gives time travel capability. :-)

The answer is no. Unfortunately, none of these things work. The most basic laws of thermodynamics would be blatantly violated.

and besides H2O sounds suspiciously like HHO.

it is impossible in this solar system anyway to obtain more energy from a source than the source contains to start with.

a friend of mine was so horrified by last winters heating oil bills he bought at the price of several hundred each what i call a glorified space heater called EDENPURE.

they some claim some revolutionary system. you know the kind where you put in a dollar and 2 come out. in finance it is called counterfeiting and too my knowledge only the federal reserve is legally empowered to defraud.

for some reason he did not grasp that whatever amount btu's in wattage form he pulled out of the wall was ALL he could expect to get from his edenpure. he is normally a smart guy as you are.

edenpure like this water gas is snakeoil.

Yes! The EDENPURE... HAHAH 200 1989

        Hey Ted,

Thanks for mentioning that thing. I love that infomercial. Its hilarious. I had to watch it a few times to make sure it wasn't a joke. My favorite part is that "it doesn't burn the air". No electric heater consumes oxygen from a room. And how much more efficient it is. Just about any electric heater is about 100% efficient, since there is no heat loss to the outside. What a scam. Its a shame misinformed people waste their money on such junk.

        Regards, Jon

          hi jon 200 1989

my favorite part of the edenpure scam was the revolutionary discovery of "CURED COPPER".

in all my looking i can't seem to find what that actually is. not one of my scientist friends could tell me between hysterics.

all i know is i want to buy some stock in a company that mines this stuff!

            Cured Copper 200 1989

            Hey Ted,

What we know as 'Cured Copper' is made from 'six nines' (99.999999%) pure Unobtainium. Its the same stuff that the $8000 stereo power cords are made from. Its mined in pitch black darkness by specially trained Rhesus Monkeys. The light spoils its conductivity. It is then smelted in a furnace burning ancient Chinese oak. Then its given a heat treatment in heat from burning Giant Redwood trees. It needs to be continuously immersed in hot (300 degrees C) liquid Sodium metal to keep it from oxidizing. In the stereo application, the same wiring insulation Volvo used back in the 80's is employed. For the EdenPure, the wire is coated with finely powdered Beryllium. The coating is baked on. The beryllium infuses the air from the heater with life giving particles. Hahah.

yours is so good i am in hysterics.

now that i have stopped laughing for a just a minute please please tell where i can get some of this? maybe i will start to stockpile it like i do for things i know will need in the future. i will even pay you a finders fee.

Glad you enjoyed my nonsense... 200 1989

                Hey Ted,

I am glad you enjoyed that gibberish. I was inspired by the subject matter. I am a hifi enthusiast, so reading around has given me lots of material on 'special materials'. The bit about 'ancient Chinese oak' came from a youtube joke video about guitar instruction. I tried to come up with the most absurd way possible to obtain and refine this 'precious' metal. I thought monkeys working in total darkness sounded funny. I figured burning old growth trees for heat treatment would yield the finest alloy. Hence, Giant Redwood would be suitable. I just had to use that crappy insulation on the stereo wire... I have always joked around like this. Thanks.

                Regards, Jon
