Head bone's connected to the neck bone...and central locks are connected to glove box light 200

Thought I had everything functioning on the 93 240 wagon, but after replacing the blower motor, I discover that the central locks had stopped operating. Huh? Did I somehow damage the locking relays mounted behind the dash while working in that area?

Thanks to a posting by Erling (thank you!) I found in the archives, I learned that the glove box light is connected to the central locking circuitry. As the glove box light clips which hold it to the dash frame were not holding the light firmly, I decided to replace it. So....the green wire was clipped to remove the light (couldn't see the connector hidden deep behind the dash harness mess). Little did I realize, clipping the green wire also cut the circuit to the central locks. Spliced the green wire....and the central locks are working again!

Just another possibility to explore if your central locking system doesn't work......
