Funky Battery Cable- Part 2 700

I just removed the battery cable assembly from my 89 740 to get the
Positive end repaired tomorrow.
I was surprised to find the heavy negative terminal end (Blue wire) gone.
This lug looks like it was bolted on the frame that holds the rack, directly under the oil filter and P/S hoses.
Is that right? Maybe Volvo wanted that connection oiled every 3000 miles or so?
The other intact blue wire bolted on the fore and aft frame next to the passenger side shock tower and was doing all the work.
How fussy is the mount point for that second ground cable?
I couldn't find the bolt head for that lug from up top. ACH!
You can just see it from low down near the bottom of the fan.
Any Hints?

Thanks, Bill

If memory serves, I believe it was bolted to the power steering bracket. Mine had pull out also.

Hiya,

Did you hook it back up?
I wonder how it broke off, since everything is clamped down?

There's some other active threads with no start symptoms, I wonder if
they are paying attention?

Thanks, Bill

I read about it along time ago. Guessing with engine rocking, torque, etc. Mine had pulled out of the crimp. Yes reconnected it.
