Supply Source for Window Trim clips 200 1985

Can anyone:

1. Give a part number for pictured window trim clips?

2. Identify supply source?

Thanks,

Here is the Answer - Part Number and Supply Sources 200 1985

Volvo part number = 1304495

Autopartsworld.com part# = O5030-74643 price = $1.02 each

Local Volvo dealer had limited number in stock, price was $1.09 each.

Available elsewhere on the net for $1.45 - $2.00

--------

Since originally posting, I purchased a microfiche for 1985-88 240s off of Ebay for $10. No reader yet, so went to the library to view and confirmed the part number. I'm sure this info purchase will be a help in the future.

Decided to buy from Autopartsworld.com as:

1. No gas wasted driving to and from dealer.

2. Much less time.

3. No chance of the "dumb stare" from the parts counter guy.

3. They had the quanity needed.

4. No shipping cost for a order over $75 (easy to do replenishing the spares inventory).

5. No sales tax.

Not the answer - hope helpful anyhow 200 1985

Hi Mike,

I have wide trim on the 84 like yours, so I figured my parts fiche for 84 would help. The line drawings and my squint ability make me think I'd have to find a well-stocked dealership to have these parts brought to the counter for eyeball comparison. Maybe not.

From the fiche Group 84, Page 1373 (81- 4dr) there are two clips I cannot identify, 1304495-3 (item 38, 3 used) and 1312092-8 (item 35, 6 used). Also, item 25 is like many others - 1246598-5 replaced by spare use p/n 1312254-4.

Here are some clips I have. I think maybe the bow-tie clips shown are aftermarket versions of 1312254-4, but only because of the similarity to the line drawings in the parts fiche. Way to big for your application. As you can see, I have a few of those you are looking for, all broken. Maybe this info can at least rule out some items, so you know what you are not going to order.

The first pic shows 1202961 clips. These are for the thin trim on the hood and around the grill and headlights on my pre-81. They are about 3/4" long - way to big to be yours.

The second pic shows a collection, clockwise from yours, the aftermarket bow-tie ? clips, don't remember, eyebrow trim, and rocker trim.

Art, Thanks For All The Non-Info...Seriously 200 1985

Art,

Thanks for taking the time to UNidentify these clips. Really, that will undoubtedly save time when making inquires.

Thanks Again,

I believe that IPD has that clip. I do know that they stock most of the other trim clips. I had to replace a couple of my rocker molding clips after a Son in Law used the car while down here on vacation. He is a Slew-Foot, and kept trying to use the rocker molding as a running board. Never again.

I'm in on this one! Mine are wearing out and I need a few as well.

Please post your results if you find any. I've never seen these online, at least from the reliable sources.
