if you r thinking about the idle control valve that lives UNDER the intake manifold that is indeed different if you have regina versus bosch

I *think* so. There's a TPS made by Bosch, and there's one made by VDO. I'm not totally sure if one corresponds to Bosch vs. Regina FI. Our 1991 740 with Regina has the VDO switch.

For what it's worth, the switches do the same thing (idle, not-idle, and WOT), and the throttle bodies are the same, the electrical connector should also be the same, so worse case scenario would be that you need to rearrange the wires in the connector.
