How do I remove the barrel from the ignition on my 1991 940 2.3turbo estate.

Dear chipshop,

May this find you well. By "barrel" do you mean the ignition key cylinder?

Or, do you refer to some other part, for example, the ignition coil (generally found on the driver's side strut tower [UK models; passenger's side strut tower, for North American models]).

If it is neither of these, please explain in some detail, the location of the part, whether it is metal or plastic (if so, what colour), and the number and colour of any wires going to it.

If there is a part number on it, that, too, would help to identify it.
