fuel injector storage 200

I have a few sets of fuel injectors left on intake manifolds still connected to the fuel rails. I would like to store them such that they don't go bad. I don't have a clue has to what is the best way to do this. I'm thinking of taking them off and maybe adding a drop of Stabil in each one.

Any recommendations???

Yama,

I have purchased a number of new and rebuilt injectors over the years, some of them came bagged with a desiccant pack, others were vacuum sealed, and a few were oiled up very well.

In short, keep moisture away from them, the easiest method is probably to dry them out with brake cleaner, apply a light coat of oil to them, and then wrap them in oil cloth... then a zip lock bag. That is the method I have used for years, so far, no problems.
