need K-jet parts, used 200 1981

Ok, I have an 81 240 coupe.
Trying hard around here scouring my local junkyards for Kjet parts, with no luck.
Need some FI parts (CPR, cold start injector, etc),
this is for a low buck coupe project, and no I am not made of money, so when I want to switch out my CPR with another to see if it is at fault for my hard start problems, it would be easier to swallow a $50 investment for a working used part than $125 for a new part.
thanks in advance,
cheers
kevin

    Kevin,

I have several old K-jet parts, but my 1st suggestion would be to "invest" in the K-Jet Fuel Pressure Tester (IMO the ONLY way to diagnose a bad CPR) rather than waste time, effort, and money on crap-shoot used parts.

The best K-Jet Pressure Gauge set up price I know of (about $60 +shipping) is at JC Whitney . And pressure testing is a good place to start on almost any K-jet problem, since it operates on hydraulic principles.

And as I said in my other post, you could really use a Bentley too. Like for how to test the Cold Start injector, and the Thermal Time switch that controls the CSI ground. I could repeat it here, but will leave it for someone else, as it's fairly common. Or I'll come back if needed.
